DC 15 - zero motivation/respect

Don't know what to do - have 1 DC (who is very lucky and goes to a good school) but has done next to nothing for GCSE mocks in a few days.... Spends half time at ex-P's so it is really hard to parent effectively. If I had my way DC would have no phone at all. DC refuses to get out of bed and do anything. Has friends - is no more "depressed" than any other teen I believe, we do have regular chats about relationships, weight issues, drugs, alcohol. DC tells me no one is doing any studying - have said many times that lots of people "say" that but have secretly worked. Have told DC that prospective 6th form applications consider mock results and that they will not get to the 6th form they want if they fail! Can't get them to help/get a job or revise. Want to explode and quite frequently do - makes no difference - except to upset the neighbours I suspect! Any tips - I'm crap at this
