Ds(15) got a new phone so hasn't stopped looking at it 🤣

He didn't get much else as that was enough £££s. I did get him a silly £4,99 back scratcher (he normally asks me to scratch his back) and he has used it a few times. We also got monopoly cheaters edition which we've played as a family two nights since Xmas. Stocking was otherwise bulked out with pringles, sweets, chocolate.

He does usually get lots of presents which he ignores, but I made an effort to not buy for the sake of having things to unwrap this year. Family all give him cards with money now too.

That was my thinking this year. I’ve always bought him various games, board, computer etc over the years. Some used some not. His birthday is exactly a month before Christmas and I got him money, a computer game, clothes, smelly stuff. I didn’t want to end up getting him the same kind of stuff for Christmas so thought some clothes money sweets. His main present was one of those Nintendo ring-fit thingies which seemed to get good reviews. Like you’re he’s glued to the phone, iPad, pals. I don’t knowing I’ve bought him the wrong gift. He did like his clothes thank god
