TV's on at night

I am asking what everyone does about their kids having tv's on at night in their rooms.
I am desperate to sleep by 10pm usually but kid's bedtimes are later (husband's doing) and I can't get to sleep.
I think they should switch them off if I'm going to bed but I get endless grief about this and I sit downstairs pretty much every night, shattered but don't go to bed because it's pointless 😕 What are the rules in your house?

My 2 ds have wireless headphones for watching tv/iPads when I go to bed as I can’t sleep if I hear any background noise. They know what time they’ve to switch them off at the latest

How loud are the TV's blaring?! My teen has a tv in her room (tv on wall between our rooms) and when I go to bed, she turns the volume down and is very considerate. Ask them to turn it down or headphones. Not fair for you to suffer.

Headphones for everyone for Christmas.

Thank you everyone. They are not blaring but loud enough that I can't sleep. One tv in particular is not quiet at all on its lowest volume setting. I think the wireless headphone suggestion is the way to go.

I have this problem and have started wearing sleep buds

No TVs in bedrooms. Other tech out of rooms overnight. Simple.
Why does your husband get to choose bedtimes? Confused

How old are the dc ?

Anyone who is 'mature enough' to have a TV in their room needs to be mature enough to be considerate of other people. They either listen to it with the volume on so it doesn't disturb other people, or they turn it off.
