At my wits end with my 16 year old ds, last week he came home stoned, we had a discussion he thinks there is nothing wrong in this as he is not a regular user and does this now and again, he cannot understand my concenrn and thinks i am over reacting. He has no intention of stopping. I said he cannot have his phone anymore and is grounded. He did not hand over his phone and tonight he has gone to a party even when he was told he is not allowed to go, he turned the location sharing of his phone so i would not know where he is. He is just not listening to me anymore and i feel so drained and just don't know how to deal with this anymore. Any advice on how to deal with this?

I don’t have an enormous amount of advice as I am going through similar with my DS. Does he have a father who can support you? My DS has been out of control; we now have targeted youth services involved, and at least his father is now starting to support me. It is so hard when they are bigger than you and they won’t listen. I’m going to get the police to come and talk to my son about some of the dangers...
