there are "gangs" hanging around the street where my mum lives of about 16-19 years old. They sit on her wall till 3am getting pissed, high on drugs, shouting crap all night. The police turn up and "move them on" then they walk around all night. Last week someones car was smashed up and windows were put through and to top it all off and this is what has pissed me off completly. My brothers friends (17 years old one male one female) were going home last night, admittidly it was 1:30am so was quite late, they were walking down the alley next to my mums house to get home when all of a sudden 20 little bastards jumped on him and kicked the shit out of him for no reason whatsoever!!!!!

All the police do is move them on and i think its stupid!!! they are getting away with so much!!! ffs

Now im only 23 and I think its bang out of order! You cant go out to them or you risk god knows what........

Does anyone know what can be done cuz the police are usless!!!!

Apologize for my spelling and language etc etc but i am sooooooooooo pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huge sympathy. I hate this sort of behaviour. I think the residents need to keep phoning the police. Perhaps form a group and write to the local newspapers and send a spokesperson to talk to the Chief Constable.

I'd suggest finding somewhere for these teenagers to go but if they're older teenagers and they're drinking & taking drugs then they probably wouldn't be up for a game of pool in the church hall.

Anybody else have ideas???

Well if the police arent doing much your pretty buggered really.

The best thing you can do for yourselves is to avoid the alleys at silly times of the night (shouldnt have to be done but thats the world we live in now).
You could also get one of those little cctv cameras fitted onto the house.
You can pick them up quite cheap now, so if anything does happen you'll have it all on video.

Its a bit ridiculous really if they are causing disturbances at that time.
I thought thats what ASBO's were for
