Overwatch and shouting

My 14 yo DS likes playing Overwatch (bit like Fortnite as is a shooting/team game
But every time he plays he’s just frustrated, angry and shouts. It’s really unpleasant as the Xbox is in the living room.
He’s also seeing CAMHS for school performance related anxiety so we are trying to reduce his stress anyway.
So is it a way to let off steam or some thing he should be avoiding?
I’d don’t let him play for hours - today he has played for about 1.5 hours this morning and 1 hour this afternoon

My son plays Overwatch and he doesn't get frustrated or shout. Maybe it's not the right game for him if it makes him stressed. Does he have friends playing it with him?

My DS (age nearly 14) also shouts a bit at the screen when he's playing this kind of game. But it's not serious shouting iykwim - he's not properly angry - just a kind of 'oh god I can't believe that guy shot me' kind of thing.

If you think it's that kind of shouting, could you move the xbox to another room so it's not unpleasant for everyone else?

If he's getting properly worked up / aggressive then I think it's a sign to stop playing and do something else.

Thank for the replies Smile It’s good to see I’m not alone about the aggression aspects.

We have taken away our sons playstation for this reason . School refusal, aggression (towards me),shouting , friending strangers, addiction to online gaming . Had enough
