At what age were your teens most irritated by you?

DD is 13. She doesn't dislike me but finds me really annoying and probably faintly ridiculous.
I'm quite a nice mum. She knows that but still ..
Is 13.5 the high point of this, or have I got years of it to come?

My DD didnt find me annoying really. She never went through that stage.

However my DS as soon as hormones hit - around 13 - became pretty dismissive, rude or uptight and found the sound of my voice annoying. He got better from about 16 1/2. Sorry!

13-14 I think. Dd now 15 is coming out of that phase and even seems quite appreciative of us. Dd age 13 finds me quite embarrassing!

Still clash a bit with ds1 (he’s 21 and doesn’t live at home) but that’s because we are very similar.
I don’t seem to particularly irritate ds2 (16) and dd(14) but I’m quite laid back.
