Taller DD don't respect me

My 14 year old DD doesn't respect me now that she is taller than me. She is 6'1 and I'm 5'8. She doesn't listen to me when I tell her what to do. She just tells me that she doesn't have to listen to me because she is taller than me. What should I do to get her to listen to me.

It is not all about her height - short 14 year olds are often just the same!!

Yeah she never did this tell she found out she is over 6 feet

If my children said this I would laugh at them. It's such toddler logic that taller=more responsibility.

Would she like to take on more adult responsibility to go with that height? She could wash windows, pay some bills etc. 😂

Tell her in that case you don't have to pay for anything for her. She's so tall she can but her own way. Cos height makes you the grown up boss yeah?

Pay her own way!
