How do you deal with assertive teens who are way taller and stronger than you?

Both DS's are way taller than me and are quite intimidating when they pull up to their full height and look down at me.

If they are using their physique to intentionally intimidate you, remind them it's not nice to be a bully. if you are trying to discipline them or talk to them, and they pull up to your face and look down on you intentionally, you must assert this bullying behaviour and remind them to respect you, your space and to sit down when you are having "a" talk with them. use a voice that is calm and strong, don't whisper or whimper or cower away.
