Please help! I have a 9 year old daughter who has started to get pubic hair. She is very snappy, hormonal and moody. She was a delight till this point; highly intelligent, popular, caring, sensitive and lots of friends. She even won the citizenship award at school last year! Since puberty hit she has lost friends. She is so snappy and abrupt with them they don t want to play with her anymore. She know longer wants to compromise about anything. She has been playing by herself at school, then she will come home and burst into tears. Her teachers and I have been working with her, she knows how to behave but in the moment hormones appear to take over and she loses her crap! She s either crying or angry. My heart is breaking. Please help me to help her :(:(:(

Really feel for you.

I struggled as a child with this.
I found exercise a good release and used to walk a lot - I still do
As it is good for tension release.

Plenty of fresh air.

Also maybe have regular chats with her to reassure her about any little underlining issues she may have.

Finally make sure her diet is balanced.
Keep her blood sugar level.
Avoid sugary snacks and chocolate which can cause sugar spikes and also that she is drinking plenty of fluid - water is good.
