How do you get a driving test cancellation?!

DD failed this morning and is devastated Sad.

The next available test is 13th September!

Do we book that and keep checking for something sooner? Is it free to change the date? Is something else likely to come up?!

You can pay for the cancellation booker app it’s worth it.

There are quite a few apps that keep searching the DVLA database for cancellation. If you pay (not very much), you'll get texts as soon as an appropriate date is free. Dd used Testi and got lots of offers of closer tests.

Might also be worth looking at other test centres (if there's another anywhere near you). One test centre about 3 miles from me had a 3 month waiting list. Another, about 6 miles away, had tests available for the next week.

I remember when mine did the test, he had to get online at 8am (perhaps 9am) on Monday(?) morning when the office opened and refresh/refresh the website to get appointments that were cancelled the previous week. Ask your child's instructor or call the office, they'll give you proper advise. It was something like that tho. Best of luck to her!

Would avoid Driving Test Cancellations 4 All. They gave a date, asked for payment (which I immediately made) but didn't book it. According to the girl on their customer services desk the slot had already been taken because there is a 3 HOUR DELAY between DVSA announcing the cancellation and 'driving test cancellations 4 all' notifying you of it. (apparently it's in the (very) small print). Took my son's hard earned money still no test til january (sad face)
