Polo shirts!!!

Hi,
My dd is 10 and is at the stage where she needs to be wearing a bra/crop top. She's quite big generally for her age, and measures a 30B.

The problem is, she won't wear the starter bras I've bought her as her school polo shirts are too see through - can anyone recommend some de ent white polo shirts that aren't see through?

She would happily wear a crop top instead of a bra, but all the ones we've seen are really flimsy so her nipples are visible.

So, good quality polo shirts or slightly padded crop tops....anyone??? TIA.

If you want to not see the crop top, she needs those beige ones. Peacocks do slightly padded crop tops.

Matalan is good for non wired bras when you get to that.

Next do nude crop tops that have some slight padding/moulding.

Would she wear a sports bra?

I think tbh you will struggle. This is my one of my pet peeves with school uniform. Bras and crop tops show through all these thin pale shirts.

What about one of those vest tops with the added support. If you get in white it will just look like she has a vest top on underneath.

Sainsbury polo shirts were quite thick if she doesnt mind an embroidered butterfly or flower on a pocket?

Those non padded ones are not very nice. They show everything and give an weird shape/outline
Would she prefer the moulded type?

Dont try the m&s ones the sizes are all weird. Try debenhams.

We didn't have problems with the m&s teen angel ones for either of my DDs, but tried a few on to get the right size

My dd also wore the M&S ones with no issues

It makes me feel a bit sad tbh - she was really excited about wearing a bra initially. Then a girl at school started taking the mick....so even though a lot of girls in her class wear one, my daughter is now really self conscious. 😔
