Hey
I'm trying to organise a party for my 16th but I'm not to sure on what to do, I was thinking maybe a kiddies party with a bouncy castle and fancy dress but I'm not too sure.
Does anyone have any good ideas for about 10/20ish people
TIA
Dani

I think a kiddies party would be great fun for a 16th (or 18th/21st/40th etc come to think of it!) If you are booking a bouncy castle, make sure they know it is for 16 year olds, as there will be some which are only suited for little kiddies. Also be sure you'd be able to keep some control over how many people are on at the same time cos they can be dangerous. You could play all the old party games too - pass the parcel, musical bumps, team games (such as passing the balloon between chins/knees) etc. Then food would be really simple: sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, jelly etc etc - whatever reminds you of children's parties. And of course a kiddies birthday cake!

I asked DS yesterday if he fancied a bouncy castle for his 16th birthday next month. He just gave me a funny luck like I was mad or something, and slunk back to his darkened bedroom.

I think that would be fabulous and guaranteed to be the best 16th they'll go to! Such a clever idea.

Make sure that booze is not present/not present in great quantities though because if it is available someone will either break their neck or puke on the bouncy castle.......

might do this for my 40th!
