Place to share parenting-your-teen stories du jour...
Mine is at the dinner table tonight.
Me: What time and day is your DoE start this weekend? I'm a little confused.
DS: I don't know.
Me: Your leader will know. Who is your group leader?
DS: We don't have a group leader.
Me: Your group must have a team leader.
DS: Mrs. Smith.
Me: She's your assessor, not your leader.
DS: She is my leader! Mrs. Smith is my leader. She is our leader. We don't have any other leaders!
Me: Ok, ask her.
DS: Mrs. Smith IS my leader.
Me: Look, if you don't tell me where and when to drop you off or pick you off, we may not be able to give you lifts to right places at right times.
DS: I don't know anything. Nobody tells me anything. We don't have a leader.
2 hrs later, DS whining: I really NEED to do DoE stuff.
He's just being contrary. Because he can.
