DS1 rolled my car into a field 10 days after passing his driving test, writing my car off just before I started a new job that required transport. He was only mentally scarred (so recommend a Clio).

Worst thing DS has done so far (aged 15) is just to become a horrible sarcastic git really. Especially to his dad. I wonder where my sweet, witty, chatty little boy went... somebody stole him and replaced him with a long, lanky, mouthy, smelly teenager.

Worst thing DD did... well... its been many things, but the latest is massive credit card debt. I get at least four calls a day from debt collectors looking for her. She got the cards by lying on the forms.

This might make you laugh! Our DS1 (ex year 11 - coming up 17) has been in Berlin for a week with some mates, due back today. Just had a phone call to say they have missed their flight because one of them (not mine) decided to do some Graffit last night and they were all arrested!!! They have had to re-book all their travel - 2 flights and now will not be home until tomorrow! I have told DS that he has to pay for this himself. The stupidity of youth! Still, I suppose it could have been worse.

I went to bed at midnight having said goodnight to my son and his two friends who were staying over as planned.Next morning after a peaceful night I woke up to find two strange girls asleep in my living room with the remains of a bottle of vodka trickling onto my carpet.
They were lovely girls,chatty and well mannered. I gave them a lecture about not going into strangers houses etc etc. In one ear and out the other I expect.

Got home yesterday to find a letter addressed to DD. Letter was informing her that the bailiffs will be coming to collect her debt in full in the next seven days

Am furious as DS is home alone during the holidays, so I've had to tell him not to leave any windows open and, whatever he does, do NOT open the door if anyone knocks.

Bloody DD, bringing this crap to the whole family.

I know, but how do I prove what is hers and what isn't? Am just so angry with her. She doesn't even live here, but always puts this address on everything.

Tell them nothing there is hers and she doesn't live there.

If she doesn't live there they have sent the notice to the wrong address. Game over.

Bloody teenagers

They give us so much grief. And to think I used to get worried and stressed out over bedtime crying and nappy rash... those days were soooooo easy when I think back... [wistful emoticon]

We didn't have credit cards when I was a teenager, by the time Mrs Thatch brought them in I was of a responsible age.

my ds got searched by police the other day,after being accused of smoking cannabis,10:30 am in the park.

he hadent been and had nothing on him.

i went to the police station to ask why they had searched him and they told me that the only reason why he would be sitting in the park would be to buy/sell drugs!!!!!!!
this is the town park iin a fairly small town.he was just sitting there with one friend having arranged to meet another friend there and were waiting for him.i was livid.

my 13 year old has been stopped by the police a few times now - he must look guilty!! Doesnt bother me though, they are just doing their job and hopefully he will think twice before doing anything.

Having got a story to tell, just here to have a look at everyone elses stories so i can see whats in store for me!!!

My nephew and his friend at the age of 14 sneaked into the friends mother's bedroom while drunk, took her car keys, drove 10 miles along a busy A road then crashed the car into a neighbours field. My nephew then gave a false name to a man who has known him since he was born.

He's 22 now, and I have to say I am still horrified.
