DD18 hopefully off to uni this Autumn. We've never insisted on a job whilst school. Have said she does need to get a job for 8 weeks over the summer. Reluctant. DD is qualified in teaching a sport so can easily secure work if she tries. We are paying for a trip to Italy and she's joining family holiday too - so 3 weeks paid holidays are in place. AIBU to completely dig my heals in on this????? We are pre-A level weeks, so emotions running high.
