My 16 year old copes well with her studies and has always just got on with it without much stress. Every so often, when the load gets too much, she does show signs of stress and it appears to manifest itself physically. Her appetite changes, she feels nausea, she gets stomach aches or headaches. She gets enough sleep, still does sport and does always eat something at each meal, so I wondered if it would help for her to take a vitamin/mineral supplement during these months of GCSEs. Is there anything proven to be beneficial? Does stress cause the depletion of anything?
