Two questions about bedtime

  1. If your teens have different bedtimes and share a room, what does the older one do? Ds1 brings his laptop down and chats/games with his friends in the dining room, he doesn’t mind. I just wondered what others do.

  2. Does your 15 year old come and kiss you goodnight? All our kids still come and give me a peck on the cheek and say goodnight, my friend remarked this was unusual when she was here. Hers just disappear off to their rooms and she assumes they go to bed at a reasonable time.

I can't answer the first question but my teen doesn't kiss me goodnight. In the week he'll usually spend a bit of time with us before bed and he'll say goodnight but at weekend it's usually me going to him to say goodnight before I go to bed Smile

Ah yes there is that too! Especially in school holidays it’s me heading off to bed first!

My youngest boy will still come and say goodnight and give me a cuddle before bed...and sometimes climb in my bed for 5 minutes. My eldest, I have to find to kiss him on the head and say goodnight.
