Hi, I’ve had my children for the last 10years half the time since there mum left for someone else, I’ve given up a lot for them and put them first.
I’ve met someone who I love very much at last, nearly 5 years ago, but my daughter was a massive pain and was always jeaglous and causing problems so after a year we moved to separate houses. My daughter now 14 has in recent months been coming less and less to see me and when she does we’ve got her friends around, my son who is 16 now has his own life and I sit alone a lot of the time they are there, just seem to be there for food, cleaning and lifts.

I feel massively guilty but I miss my partner when we are apart and I want to live with her again. But with all the kids it won’t work and it’s hugely expensive for a place big enough.

Part of me wants to say I’m going to live with my partner and I’ll see you set days or when ever really, but I also hate fathers who just walk away from there kids (not that I’m doing that)

Has anyone been in this situation?

Isn't that called being a parent? Smile

You're allowed to pursue your own happiness. x
It's not bad parenting to sometimes put your kids 2nd.
