I feel so sorry for my son. He had feelings for a girl and she finally agreed to be his girlfriend but after a few days changed her mind, saying she didn't feel ready. My son is completely heartbroken. He won't eat much and isn't sleeping well either. He just mopes in his room, with 'Rewrite the star's' on loop! This is the first time he has had feelings for a girl and I've never seen him like this before. HELP!!!!!

I remember when I was 14 and "heartbroken" over a boy. There nothing you can really do. Let him be upset he will come to you when he wants to if he wants to.

He will be fine. It happens and will happen again. Just let him know you're there if he wants to chat

I love that song, but hearing him sadly singing, 'I can't have you....' has kinda ruined it for me!

Bless him. He'll be absolutely fine in a while. Let him mope and then gradually draw him back into the family fold. This is all part of life's rich tapestry.
