I have a 13 year old DD, she's the middle child. Always been a great sleeper even since she was tiny. For a while she's been sleepwalking. She goes to bed around 9.30, quite often we'll be getting ready to go to bed about 10.45 or 11 and she'll appear in the lounge and plonk herself down on the sofa. She's clearly not with it and so we steer her back to bed. She never remembers in the morning.
I've just had to send her back to bed after she's come downstairs, opened the front door and tried to go out.
She responded when I called her and there was an odd conversation along the following lines...
"Sophie (not her name), what on earth are you doing??"
"I'm going outside."
"Sophie, it's the middle of the night. Get back to bed."
"I need to go outside."
"Sophie. Upstairs. Now".
She did comply, went straight back to bed and is now sleeping soundly. She won't remember in the morning and will think I'm having her on.
Anyone else's teen do this?? It's a bit worrying. She's never tried to leave the house before.
