Adhd symptoms just started at age 12

Is it possible to get adhd symptoms at age 12 . My child has started experiencing them one year ago just as puberty started and I was wondering if it may be possible for this to show up at this time . She is early 14 now and her attention span , forgetfulness and chatty ness is causing her a lot of problems at school , drama and home

My cousin's kid was diagnosed at 14.
There is some debate in family where he was attention seeking, instead (his 2 siblings had time-demanding SN).
Some conditions in some people don't manifest until puberty. That is true.

I think it’s more usual that girls don’t start to struggle until puberty.
