Looking at advice regarding teenagers boys playing computers.
Our son has an x box and a PlayStation and he likes to play online - as they all do. He has restrictions on them in regarding to how long he can play and we are also able to turn off the WiFi to the consoles via an app on our mobiles but I wondered if anyone knew any ideas regarding who can add him as a friend and whether the friend requests then automatically send me a notification to the adult account which his child account is linked to?
Also how long do you allow your child to play computer for? How long in a day?

No idea on friend requests sorry. I’ve explained to him many times not to accept friend requests from people he doesn’t know but honestly, I don’t check. As for time, he seems pretty much glued to it atm.

This might be helpful. It goes in to detail about which parental controls should go with which app/game/website etc.

Sorry, meant to say specifically the NetAware bit.
