DD2 is 18, working part time not in education. Her wage differs every month. She pays for her car, insurance and mobile phone. She has a room with en-suite in our house, oh thinks she should pay digs. Her bills not including petrol come to £400 her lowest wage so far has been £690.
I worry that she’ll have no money if we start charging her digs but oh thinks she should be paying £200 a month.

I think it’s only fair that you start to charge her. My mum charged me £200 a month in 1989 so that sum doesn’t seem unreasonable! She actually gave me the money back later so it was enforced saving. But it’s unrealistic for her to be spending all that money on disposable items really.
