Has she eaten ALL the biscuits again?

Are the rest of the family never allowed to have a biscuit? Ever?

Do I have to go back to hiding them in the freezer?

Why did I believe her when she said that she would ask before eating the biscuits?

Why why why why why?

Anyone want to buy a teenager? Comes with free diet regime (you'll never eat biscuits again!)

lol at hiding them in the freezer
put them in a cupboard she can't reach
how old is she?

fryalot · 10/06/2007 14:56
  1. She's taller than me. If she can't reach them, neither can I.

Are there no kinds of biscuit that you like & she doesn't?
This is the only way (other than scoffing it straight out of the supermarket bags)that I ever get to eat anything nice in our house....

fryalot · 10/06/2007 15:00

she will eat ANYTHING

It's not me I'm bothered about, but her little brother and sister never get a look in.

The final straw was today - she has a friend round, and I took them some juice out on a tray. Was going to do a nice plate of biscuits (went shopping on Tuesday and bought 5 packets) and there are none left - well, a couple of broken ones at the bottom of the biscuit tin

lol@sqounk diet regime

saadia · 10/06/2007 15:27

my mum used to hide them in cereal boxes.

fryalot · 10/06/2007 15:29

she eats cereal when she can't find the biscuits - so that wouldn't work. Maybe I should buy some frozen cabbage and sprouts and keep the biscuits in the veg bags - that'll keep her out!

Or in the cupboard with the dusters & polish?
My two would never find them there.

Wills · 10/06/2007 15:32

Oh dear. What about these astray.com/recipes/?show=Vegetable%20biscuits

At least she'd be getting healthy???

fryalot · 10/06/2007 15:33

have saved that recipe... will give it a try

We hide them in the wardrobe, and sometimes in the bushes in the garden (Unfortunately they discovered those......)

fizzbuzz · 10/06/2007 21:26

Also me and dp hide upstairs witha smuggled in cake or something. We sit there gleefully stuffing it all in.

OR, buy something really yummy, eat it and leave wrapper as evidence. They HATE that

fryalot · 10/06/2007 22:42

pmsl, fizzbuzz, am going to try that tomorrow

I hide mine in the tumble dryer, just don't forget when you've got a load of washing on a wet day.

fryalot · 10/06/2007 22:50

lol @ squonk!! So glad i'm not the only one with a guzzleguts teenager!!

I might try hiding my stuff in the tumble dryer too.

themoon66 · 10/06/2007 23:10

Hide them in car boot... take them to work with you each day if your teen is at home and bored.

twolittleducks · 10/06/2007 23:37

squonk- my mum used to put them in the boot of her car and then sod off to work

mumblechum · 11/06/2007 09:38

I hide them in the veg rack in the bottom of the fridge, also ironing basket & behind books in bookcase, in saucepans - only prob is, I forget where I've put them.
