Books for 13 year old DS

Can anyone please recommend what their 13-15 year old DS is reading. He has just finished a couple of autobiographies about rock stars and is now reading Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I would like to get him a couple of books for his birthday.

I loved Night Circus recently and think I would have as a teenager too.

My sons really enjoy the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. They are a similar style of humour to the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Just bought DS the book of Ready Player One. He also likes young James Bond & Andy McNab's Boy Soldier books.

Damn, was going to suggest Hitch Hikers. How about Dirk Gently by the same author?

Has he read Day of the Triffids yet? It’s a very easy and entertaining read.
