Biting

17 yo ds has 5 or 6 little wounds around his neck. They look like vicious pinches. He says his girlfriend likes biting him.

She's a lovely young woman AFAI can tell. They seem very happy and comfortable together, and spend time with us as a family as well.

Do I need to worry about this?

They're love bites OP, if he seems ok with it then leave them to it!

Call me naive (I probably am) but I thought love-bites were bruises caused by hard sucking. These are actual wounds.

By 'actual wounds' do you mean blood had been drawn?

JellySlice · 10/08/2018 19:18

I think so. Some of them looked scabby.

Ok that's quite odd!
I know some people are into biting but to bite down so hard that it leaves scabs? Sounds really strange to me

It's not biting leaving semi-circular teeth marks. It's more like, I think, a nibble, pinching a tiny bit of skin between the teeth and biting down hard. The marks remind me of the little bitch bully at primary, who would pinch children so hard that they bled.
