Would she let you measure her?

M&S - book a fitting appointment at your local store

Debenhams also have some lovely soft moulded bras that are not underwired.

My 12yr old DDs love them.

dementedpixie · 29/06/2018 09:33

No don't go to M&S unless you want it to be the wrong size! I measured dd and then bought M&S Angel bras online for her

dementedpixie · 29/06/2018 09:35

Dd has these in a 30D

Where to go..?
JiltedJohnsJulie · 29/06/2018 10:20

demented why would the size be wrong if she was measured at M&S?

dementedpixie · 29/06/2018 15:18

Because they tend to add inches to the back size and give a back size that is too big and a cup size that is too small I.e. If you measure 30 inches under bust they add 4 on and say you're a 34 back size whereas it should be a 30 back size.

I recently took my 12 year old (30F) to John Lewis - she didn’t want to go and it was a battle! She now has some very good (and very expensive) bras that have transformed the way she looks, how she feels about herself and how comfortable she is.

This is our miracle bra

They are currently on offer.

My experience of M&S has always been brilliant. Remember the measurement is a guide, she will then have to try various styles on to find the best fit for her.

80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size, 70% are wearing bras that are too small. Definitely worth a professional fitting which any lingerie department in a decent department store will have.

dementedpixie · 29/06/2018 16:47

They had me in a 40C, i am actually 36GG!

dementedpixie · 29/06/2018 16:48

That 80% have probably been measured using the +4 method

Thanks ladies..

measured n tried n bought..
I guess I've started an expensive trend with her bra shopping experience but it really does make or break yr confidence n outfit..
