DD is half way through GCSE’s. Half term just finishing, and two more weeks of exams to go. Over the hols she has really dipped, Has little energy and was sick all through Friday night. Hasn’t eaten much since then. She decided that she would go vegan two weeks ago and I have put quite an effort into providing nutritious and healthy meals to keep her going. Not sure whether it’s the food issue, anxiety about exams, basic boredom from months of revision stuff at school (not so much at home 😕), a sickness bug, virus or what? History GCSE tomorrow - bright girl with good predicted grades but has been put off history after months of war related dates and loads of homework. Last chance to revise today. She has had some toast, showered and is up but doesn’t want lunch. Gut feeling is to avoid all talk of revision today and just help her to be as healthy as she can be for tomorrow - sleep/nourishment/distractions etc. Advice please wise Mumsnetters.

You are where you are. You are doing what you can for her.

You could chat to her about getting an iron tablet if you're worried that the vegan diet isn't perfected yet, although I don't think even iron deficiency would show this quickly.
