Hi
Well our DD is is 18 this year and thinking of something special for her birthday, as had awful few years with bullying etc... and normal teen nightmares, however thinking of spa break one night :evening meal/afternoon tea. She doesn't want a party so thought this would be nice with myself and 2 others. Also no idea of present something of a keepsake I thought? Any ideas or anyone done similar? Thank you in advance. Xx

Does she have a Pandora bracelet? You could get an 18 charm or a daughter one. An engraved champagne glass? Something personalised might be quite nice - the Next website has a whole bunch of gifts than can be personalised.

For my 21st my mum gave me a photo album of my life to that point. She had spent ages putting it all together and thought loads about which photos to use.

I have always kept that photo book and when I feel crappy I look through it. It always reminds me of happy things growing up. Its the only thing I still have from 18/21st birthdays.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately Dd doesn't have a Pandora bracelet though will have a look on next website. Also what a lovely gift the photo book that's such a great idea.xx

I wouldn’t buy a Pandora bracelet. They’re overpriced and not really something she’s likely to keep forever.

A nice piece of jewellery yes, but something that is timeless (not a pandora).

A photo album is also a great idea. My Dad gave me one for my 21st and I really love it.
