Bullying

This has been a VERY tough year for DS, who is 13 and in 7th grade because of bullying. I keep kind of hearing that 8th grade and high school will be better.

Those of you whose children have been bullied...was that your experience? Did the bullying and your child's school experience get better?

We took our son out of school for a term and then sent him to a new school. The homeschooling time gave him a chance to get some perspective and to figure out a bit about who he was, and the fresh start meant that he never was bullied again.

Is your son going to a new school in 8th grade?

Will he be going to High School with the same children OP? Have you checked out the new school’s anti bullying policy?

Bullying is everywhere and in high school school sweep it under the rug but on a positive he can meet new friends and try get him some confidence to be like he don't really care what they think as they won't do it anymore cause it's only fun if it get to him if it doesn't then they move onto someone else I practice in house with my we boy a the time but from time to time I've went nuts at the bully and they never say anything again x
