DS keeps using my girly shower creams!!!

I know this is a trivial matter, but i'm SICK and TIRED of my nearly 17 year old DS using my stuff!!!

We each have our own separate shower stuff, my DP has his, my DS has his own and i have my own. But lately my DS has just left his shower stuff in his room and decided to use MINE!! Now i would understand if it was a family shower gel or summat, but it's not. It's girly stuff so i cant understand why he would want to smell like a girl!

I confronted him about it and he said (in between huffing and puffing) that he would use his own from now on.

So now his shower gel is in the shower, but HE'S STILL USING MINE!!!!!! AAAGGHHH!!!

So my big question is this. WHY??!!!!!!!

My DH and brother would be in agreement with your DS They both think 'man's' fragrances are rank, and prefer to smell like girls

Most men's shower stuff smells gross!

RGPargy · 16/05/2007 13:45

When my DP and I go shopping, we always choose his shower stuff with care. He has a lemony one this time and it doesn't particularly smell manly either!!

If he wants me to buy him one of "mine" i will gladly do so - all he has to do is ASK!!!

Agree a lot of "male" fragrances are vomit-inducing - maybe take him out shopping with you and choose some new ones together? There is a cheapo one at the moment which is quite pleasant and unisex (imo) - Johnsons Pure Energy.
Now if you could just help me to stop dh from using my (expensive, designer) shampoo!

just be glad he is actually washing....SS goes through long phases of not taking showers and even when told he smells not too good just sits back and grins and lets us

Also went through a phase where he thought aftershave as smell cover up was a good alternative to washing.

Given that I think womany shower gel smells on your ds sounds great!

I love some of the men's shower gels. Use them myself. Consider yourself lucky that your son showers at all

I am grateful for small mercies. I also have to buy him his own cotton buds or he'll nip into our bedroom and steal mine too lol.
