Your teen dc ask you to make a particular dish, and when you go to make it you find that they've eaten the essential ingredients. In this case, the chocolate for the chocolate mousse that they requested.

That's because you keep eaten the 'interesting' ingredients! Just put what you've eaten on the friggin shopping list!

My teen dd asked me to make a shepherds pie instead of the roast I was planning. I went out specifically to buy the ingredients, stood there making it, dished it up, then she refused to eat it because it was lamb Hmm
