Fortnite alternative needed any ideas?

My 13 year old has anger issues as it is and after playing on this game he is on the ceiling in no time. He comes off it and he is a different boy. You know the story. All devices are currently locked away until his horns disappear.

What else is there about that boys like? This killing people lark is horrid.

I tend to think of Nintendo games as more "friendly" - we have the Mario games and Splatoon and they seem quite cute and harmless. (Famous last words ...)

My DS plays a lot of Rocket League, it's still competitive but not actually weapons based. The in app purchases and trading may break you though!

Thank you! This bloody game is wreaking havoc in the house. Temper tantrums, screaming and shouting whilst playing, major problems when asked to come off it, refusing to leave the game and go out, etc.

He knows he's addicted but is finding it hard to leave it alone.
