Can you recommend phone provider with limited data bundle?

Having major issues with teens overspending on mobile phone data and costing me a fortune. Currently with vodaphone who assured me several times that the children’s accounts had caps on, but one dc took the cap off, and the other was asked if they would like to continue with more data once they reached their limit - of course they said yes! I have hunted about for a different bundle but cant find one where the data just stops when the limit is reached, they all seem to have the option to continue using data at huge cost. TIA

Tesco. DS has a contract with them that is £12.50 per month. There is a cap of £5. Phone is a Samsung J3. I pay the contract by direct debit as he is still at school, so he can't take the cap off they would have to notify me. He does sometimes run out of data at the end of the month but can still do anything with wifi and send/receive texts.

Idmobile. You can put a cap on the spend if £5 . D

GiffGaff even my own data stops when I reach the limit. Great way to stick to a budget as mine iis only £7.50 a month and DS's is £5

I am on three and it seems to be automatically capped. It doesn't let me use data at all if I go over. I didn't have to do anything at all, it just does it.

Tesco are fab for family bundles!

With Vodafone, if you have the My Vodafone App you can set the account control settings so that all notifications come to you and his number is not able to remove the cap or add extras. They don't do 'child accounts' though (other than Voxi if you want to check that out)

What are they using the data on? Would the Vodafone passes help? Means data doesn't get used on various apps. There are 3 different passes.

Ultimately I'd be having a word with DC about them taking the piss though. And making them accountable, I presume they're old enough to know what they're doing when removing the cap and adding extras?

As said before, Tesco - good rates and I've got a £2.50 set on mine. If you've got a family bundle, you can get a £1 discount, extra talk minutes or data.

How old are they? If my dc did that I would take their phones off them. The rule in our house was responsible use or no phone.

I'm with Sky and my account has my mobile and my DSs on it.

I have 5gb (£15 a month) and he only has 500mb (£5 a month) both with unlimited calls and texts. I get all the notifications if he uses all his data and I have the option to allocate him some of mine or some of the data that has been rolled over (unused) from previous months.

If he has no data left it just stops, so he can't use internet or WhatsApp or anything until the new month starts or I allocate him some more data.
