Hi, I was wondering if anyone has similar experience of their son in their late teens being totally baffled with their own behaviour? My son hasn’t been going to work, college is a bit hit and miss and he just can’t explain why.
He says he just can’t face going to work (a job in a company he hates he thought of but when he’s there he says it’s not too bad) but when advised to get another he doesn’t do anything about it.
He seems to lie a lot, (I guess one lie has to cover another and so on) although I am not concerned about his behaviour in general he just appears to be lost.
I want to help but without over mothering him.
He knows he can talk to me and trust me, but I’m also not naive enough to think he tells me everything.
