I've noticed over a period of time a few things have gone missing, put it down to my mental health issues. A friend left something at mine and came to pick it up over the weekend to realise parts of it were missing. Spoke to my son and he had no knowledge of it. He had a chat with a couple of his mates and one admitted that someone else had taken it and sold it.. He spoke to the person today who admitted it and said so,what you can't do anything and my mum will believe me over you. Obviously the boy is banned from ever entering my house.
The item in question was a vaping thing, the machine is still here but the liquid has gone. From, what I can make out the kid took the vape and the oil but returned the vape.
Questions
- Should I bring it up with his mother her son is 13 vaping and a thief.
- I know he spends a lot of time in another friends house, the father is self employed and often has cash in the house. Should I mention it to these parent.
I'm not sure if I'm overreacting but I hate thieves, feel, they can never be trusted. There is also the cost involved in replacing what has been stolen.
