Feonella for 14 year old - 2 per day?

Hi, my daughter suffers from heavy periods, she tried the combined pill but it didn’t agree with her. Her consultant has moved her to Feonella but she has prescribed two tablets per day. Has anyone heard of this dosage? Is it safe?

That is not the normal dosage. Can you query it with the gp or maybe a pharmacist?

It was prescribed by a consultant, she said at the time that a GP wouldn’t be able to prescribe it at that dose but she thinks my daughter would benefit from it. I’m very concerned though, I can’t find anywhere that this dosage is ok.

Yes I have heard this before in a couple of patients. So I know can be prescribed this way.
