Despite apparently studying hard, my DD has done really badly in her prelims even in those we thought she was strong in. The school think she should do Nat4's which will obviously have a knock on next year when she is hoping to take Highers. She is hoping to go to University after S6. I really don't know where this leaves us and what options are open to her if she can't get the grades she wants. My DH is insistent that she focus on University but where does that leave her if she can't get in? We can't afford tutors in all subjects. I don't want her to end up like me, ie in a crap job because I didn't have the grades to do what I wanted after school.
