..literally downed tools? I'm at the end of my patience with my teens. I feel like running away from my own home. I'm a lone parent and work but it makes not a bit of difference. Their constant nasty fighting with each other is literally making me ill and they act as though its of no consequence. They have p/ t jobs so pay for their own activities etc so i cant sanction by withholding funds. Ive tried begging, pleading with them but they go for each other within minutes of being in a room together. Theyre bigger than me so I cant prevent it if they launch at each other. One of them broke a door to get to the other and they say vile things like " i hope you die". They even get their friends to join in and take sides.

The irony is that they are bright, engaging and popular with others yet it seems they have this " blind spot" when it comes to each other.

It ruins anything we do from watching a film to going on holiday. I just feel like saying " well you refuse to do anything i ask, so sort your own transport, washing etc etc. Im just worn down with it all. I'm actually seeing my GP next week for antidepressants.
