Advice for Teenagers Parents!

Hi there,

I have used MumsNet for my own personal issues throughout the years to get some motherly advice besides my own mother. I have used it from everything from beginning my period, having sexual intercourse, university issues, girly holidays and even yesterday having an IUD fitted.

I thought I'd try and give back to the MumsNet community a little bit. I see a lot of parents asking questions surrounding university and a lot of you are (without seeming rude) quite clueless - similarly as was Mum. There's a lot of information and jargon that you won't be familiar with if you haven't attended university yourself.

A little about me, I'm 19, I'm female, I'm currently studying both English and Media in Leeds. I'm interested in giving a little help, guidance and advice to you parents. Whether it be university, relationships, contraception, sex, you know, general teenage girly stuff. Sometimes it may be better to get advice from someone going through it. It may be hard to speak to your own child about any concerns - so, here's your new daughter, speak to me!

I do hope to hear from at least one of you!

Thanks, New Mum's.
