DD1 is 16 years old and taking GCSEs in 2018. She has her mocks now and I'm getting seriously worried that she is taking it a bit too seriously. She hasn't gone out to see her friends in over a month, in fact, she hasn't been out at all unless it's to go to school. She spends every minute away from school cooped up in her room, presumably revising.
She's always had generally good grades (right now predicted all 6s and above, which I've been told is a 'high B') but I know spending every minute studying just isn't healthy. I've tried offering to take her out to a café with the dogs, asked if she wants to go swimming but she declines and says she is busy. She wont even take the time out of her studying to watch a 30 minute show with me!
I'm getting seriously worried. This can't be healthy but she is ignoring anything I suggest. Am I just being paranoid? She's the eldest daughter I have by 8 years so I have no experience with this stuff. Any advice?
