Teenage issues

My 16yr old has for a long time been rude & sworn at me when things are not going her way. Tonight it was because I turned off the TV at 10pm. I have just created a teenage lounge room with leather settee & 49" TV. They are hardly neglected children! I never dreamt of talking to my parents as she does to me. Where have i gone wrong? Everyone thinks she is such a lovely child but I am feeling bullied by my own daughter who is taller & bigger than me.

Also my 18yr old has taken to going clubbing on her night off, sometimes until 5 in the morning. I hate it & feel quite ill with worry when she is out. She takes no notice of my concern. I am a divorced Mum & I care for my mum who is 93, & source for my ex who is paraplegic.

I used to be a difficult teenager! Tough love does work!
Auto set the Wi-Fi to turn off at a certain time of night, and lock the 18 yo out one night....she will learn

Hey, wish it was that easy. Lodgers will complain if I turn off the wifi. Have to have them in to make ends meet. I actually don't know how to auto time off the router in any case ...

Nearly succeeded in locking out 18yr old by mistake, as she didn't have her key but she found the emergency one ...
