1 day or 1 week of insurance for a teenage learner driver

I'm looking at this website, insurelearnerdriver.co.uk

Has anyone used them? My 18yo son would apply with them for just one day or one week of insurance as a learner driver. We seem to meet all the reqs.

My son only visits once every 6 weeks, so other insurance packages are more expensive than what he needs.

We've done similar for DS as he is usually at uni. We found Admiral to be the cheapest, but there are several firms offering it. It was all very straightforward and quick and immediate cover.

Marmalade also do a similar thing.

Marmalade seems to have a minimum 30 days period? I need max 2 weeks.

Admiral is a bit more fiddly website but it also makes clear that the cover is instant, AND it costs less. :) so thanks for that tip.
