Dsis eating habits

I'm concerned about my dsis eating habits . I've recently got in contact with her mam, her mam wanted me nc with dsis but now on speaking terms with her man just to discuss dsis and meeting dsis every so often.

When I've taken her to eat out she'll get something like a salad or plain pasta and take forever to eat it with me prompting her . She always dashes to the toilet after or tries to drop food off her plate and make it look accidental.

She also doesn't sit still , she always has to be be moving about , jiggling her leg about when sitting down for a meal . Her mam doesn't seem to think there's an issue despite dsis hardly eating when she's home , just says she's fussy and doesn't eat much . According to her mam she can spend a whole day just on veg , for example for breakfast she would eat a carrot because it takes up all her time to eat before school . Doesn't eat lunch , it's up to her to sort her own dinner out so usually another piece of veg or nothing .

I'm worried she's going to get herself sick and her mam isn't even fussed . I don't know if I'm just over thinking it

Is she over or underweight? Sounds very much like bulimia but obviously it's limited info in your OP. Have you shared your concerns with her? Does she see her GP?

Not sure about her weight but she's very slim and gaunt, she also self harms. I've tried talking to her about it but she denies everything and only opens up about cutting .considered seeing a gp and now point blank refuses
