I downloaded this as an audio book and played it on my commute. Really sensible advice.

Have read a few girl specific - Girl uninterrupted - a bit too Daily Mail and 10 things girls need most to grow up strong up - thought provoking and worthwhile.
A lot of teen parenting books I have read - and that is approaching double figures, have been written by journalists and I get frustrated by the opinion bias of their experiences being mixed in with proper professional, evidenced based thinking. My advice is to read loads and discard the stuff that sound like bullshit because there is plenty out there.
