So oldest ds (14) has met a girl he seems besotted with. Spends every waking moment with her or texting/face timing her. She is also 14. They are currently upstairs in his room with door shut watching a film. It's all a bit weird! I'm glad he feels comfortable enough to bring her home but am I doing right thing allowing them to be alone is his room? I am in touch with her mum and I've let her know she's here and she's fine with it. He is my eldest so this situation is all new to me!

Oh dear

DearMrDilkington · 28/06/2017 18:26

I'd probably have the door open...

Doje · 28/06/2017 18:27

Get that door open!

BrutusMcDogface · 28/06/2017 18:29

Why "oh dear"?

Yes, open the door if you don't want them to have sex under your roof! Grin

Happily I have a three year old who also loves the new girlfriend and keeps running in and out......!

The closed door is very naive

Gallymum1 · 28/06/2017 18:30

Haha! Yes, you are!

I was a virgin until I was 17 but had definitely done some other "stuff" prior to this.... don't send in the 3 year old, just open that door!

Gallymum1 · 28/06/2017 18:44

Door open and will remain so!
