Where to get teen bras with a 26/28 back?

My dd is 13 and she's so fussy. She doesn't like any of the M&S Angel bras or the John Lewis ones. Since she's so tiny anything over a 28 back would be impossible.

Anyone have any recommendations? She doesn't like anything with bows on.

You can always cut the bows off, if that's the main problem.

What cup size is she?

Try New Look

H&M do some nice 'plain' ones

Figleaves.com

Theres dozens in a 28 back including sports bras. There's less choice in a 26 though. You will need to order several different brands to get a good fit. We have sent several back for being too big despite being ordered in a 26. They were easily a 30 if not 32. Once you have the brands sizing sorted you can just order theirs.

I think Boux Avenue do a 28 back and have quite a broad selection.

Brastop.com hands down. They do brand name bras but discounted.

Thanks everyone. Ideally she's a 26C but I can't find much in a 26.

My DD is 26 inches under the bust but I've found the M&S bras in a 30 still fit her very well. They have some great ones in the non underwire section. Go and try some on as you'll probably find they fit fine.

Skyllo30 · 30/06/2017 14:16

I second Boux Avenue, some of their styles are very tight on the band too.

Titsy - you are right - the 28 M&S teen bras are very tight under the ribs. This makes no sense to me because I wear a 30G and I'm a size 8-10 and my daughter is a size 2-4 so the teen bras must be smaller! There is no way she has the same chest/rib size as me.

Thanks again for advice.

I know you will probably think I'm mute but Victoria's Secret and Pink bras are lovely, and come in v small sizes. Some are races 😳but others are just comfy, soft well, fitted bras. Not cheap but they last forever

mumsneedwine · 01/07/2017 17:08

Not mute !! Meant mad 😜

lottieandmia · 01/07/2017 23:36

No, not mad at all :) my daughter is quite fussy - she likes things that are a bit different.

We had a lovely lingerie store in our local town that stocks a brand called Taylor + Rani. They do pretty reversible bralette styles that my DD really likes ( she is v v fussy). We've just ordered more online- they have lots of prints/styles and the bras arrive really pretty and wrapped up! Would really recommend them- www.taylorandrani.com

Thank you Ibar - that looks great :)
