Hi All, in a bit of a situation, witnessed my ds16 looking at some pictures on his phone this morning and on closer inspection found they were of one of his rather attractive female teachers. There were some ordinary selfies, but also bikini pictures and some pictures he'd taken of her in lessons. Confiscated phone immediately and he stormed off, refusing to talk about it and not sure what to do next.

Bikini pictures?! Selfies of who, the teacher?

How do you know they are his teachers? I wouldn't have a clue.

Yes 😕 I guess they came from Facebook or something, but I'm not sure

Well I've met her at parents evenings on several occasions, and the pictures definitely look like her, 100%

He shouldn't be able to access her FB - it should be completely locked down. Teachers are actually normally told not to even have their FB under the name they are known by at school. The main thing I'd want to make sure is that she hasn't sent them to him

Are they pictures from her Facebook page or has she sent them .her Facebook page shouldn't really have bikini shots on that are visible without being a Facebook friend .She certainly shouldn't be a Facebook friend with your son. You will be perfectly in order to complain to the school.

Complain to the school? About the boy taking creepy shots of a teacher in school! FFS.

At both schools my DSs attend they aren't allowed their phones in lessons so that seems odd.

Just go into school tomorrow first thing and take the phone with you. Ask the HT what they think.

Whilst it is advisable for teachers to have restricted access on their Facebook and other social media it isn't always mandatory, also a pupil could get hold of pictures from friends. Of course this is a problem on a number of fronts, but the teacher is most likely aware and an inocent party

Well if he's copied the pics from her FB page and has been taking sneaky shots of her in the classroom then it's not her fault so I wouldn't go all guns blazing.

However, if she's been posing in her undies for him, then that's another matter!

You need to talk to your son, ask him where he got the photos from. Don't be too accusatory as he will just deny and go on the defensive

If he is 16 then he has left school after his exams? The school need to be made aware so that the teacher can lock down her Facebook page if necessary. If he is due to take her subject next year, the timetable could be changed so that he isn't taught by her.

That's assuming he found her photos on the internet and wasn't sent them.
