Suicide threat??

Hi, DD (14) has a weekend at home for her MH unit. She's suffering with anorexia and I've been advised to cook her and make her eat whatever we are eating. Our whole family had McDonald's today, standard meals and he little ones had kids meals. DD had a veggie burger, fries and a milkshake. She ate the veggie burger, fries and threw the milkshake at her father, I'm at a loss on what to do she can't carry on like this and neither can we!
She emptied the milkshake on her father whilst saying she was going to kill herself?!?
Do I take her to the local A&A for now and drive her back to the MH unit in the morning?!
What do you think I should do???😭😭😭😭

What brought on the tantrum?
Veggie burger, fries AND a milkshake sounds like climbing a mountain for someone with anorexia, to be honest. If she ate the first two I'd be very happy with that and be trying to remain positive with her.

It's difficult because someone with anorexia will lie, deceive and do anything to get out of eating food. I highly imagine the tantrum will be the anorexia talking because the amount felt too much to handle emotionally and by throwing it at her father she got out of drinking it.

However, what she ate sounds a good start. If you can put the behaviour down to the illness and be positive, and cope, keep her with you. She'll need your love and support much more than she's showing. If you can't cope or get her to eat much at all, that's the time to get more help.

DD not anorexic can only manage a veggie burger and diet coke and feels stuffed. To add in chips and milkshake they would definitely be left.

Agree the throwing of the milkshake made it impossible for her to drink.

She may of felt like she needed to express her anger and just said it but doesn't mean it. But this could also be something she's been thinking about for weeks and she just needed to get mad to say it. I doubt the unit would let her out if the later was the case. Do you know if they're good at spotting this stuff? I'd call them and ask what to do. How is she acting now I think you should also talk to her instead of acting behind her back and tell her how you feel about what you said and if she really means it.
